Located in San Diego’s vibrant North Park neighborhood, the 30th Street mixed-use development is a new 21,000 SF, six-story construction development with ground-level commercial space and 35 townhomes and flats. Owing to its location in a dense urban neighborhood, the design prioritizes outdoor spaces for resident interaction and communal gathering. Building face step-backs and angled walls allow for each unit to receive abundant natural daylight and views of the cityscape. In order to allow for expansive outdoor space in a constrained site, the complex splits at the second level to create a courtyard between the two buildings. Subterranean-level parking maximizes residential parking needs, with two spaces allotted for each dwelling unit in a neighborhood with parking challenges.
