Gilman Bridge

La Jolla, CA

Gilman Bridge is a 400-ft concrete structure designed to create better connections between UC San Diego’s east and west campuses. The two-lane, arched bridge with sidewalks and bicycle lanes, spans across Interstate 5 and connects two existing campus roads – Gilman Drive on the west and Medical Center Drive on the east. The new bridge provides travelers with a quicker and more efficient way to get across campus.
