Newark Public Library

Newark, CA

Newark Public Library is located south-east of San Francisco in the City of Newark, and is part of the larger redevelopment of the Newark Civic Center. The new 27,000 SF, two story library building is part of the Alameda County Library System and will serve a readership of approximately 290,000 people, which is nearly half of Newark’s total population. The library’s ground floor includes a community room and primary reading room designated for the children’s collection and the second level will contain the adult and teen areas and a creative technology space.
